Holiday wrap up 2016

The holidays have come and gone once again. I swear every year just goes by even more quickly than the last!  Holiday decorating is my favorite. Even though it’s a crazy hectic time of year, it still has that special magic. Here is a taste of what we were up to this year.

Wedding summer 2015

This summer we were busy with many different projects. But the one that kept me busiest was my own daughters wedding! Kelly and Kyle were married at La Venta in Palos Verdes at the beginning of August. The weather was perfect and everything went off without a hitch. I’m so happy to share with you a few of my favorite photos!

The color scheme was so rich.

The table centerpieces…

The gazebo overlooking the beautiful ocean.

I want to thank The Monocle Project for the last three beautiful photos. They were wonderful to work with and did a beautiful job.

Kick off weekend for Summer 2015

I am looking forward to a relaxing Memorial Day weekend! The rest of the summer is packed with work, travel and last but not least the wedding of my daughter Kelly šŸ™‚

Lots of fun will be had …. But I will take a moment to enjoy the calm.

One of the things I always enjoy on a summer weekend is doing some gardening.

We worked on some fun cactus arrangements for a holiday party today. They just look like fun and summer!

A different kind of baby arrangementĀ

Today we made an adorable diaper cake for a baby boy.  We topped it off with a tricycle made out of diapers, receiving blankets, bibs, and a bottle.  The roses on the cake are made from infant socks.  The finished project was so cute.

Our next project was for a baby girl . It was precious!

These diaper cakes are so fun and make great party decorations. Best part… They will be able to use every bit of it in the months to come!
